Make Music Boston is a free, city-wide, celebration of music on June 21st, the longest day of the year.

Make Music Day was first launched in 1982 in France and is now held annually in more than 750

cities and 120 countries worldwide.

  • Created organic and ad-based social media strategies to grow social media followers by 50% and reach over 50,000 people per season

  • Managed pre-event email marketing campaign to increase festival attendance and grew email list by 21%

  • Developed written and visual content for the MMB blog in an effort to drive people to website

  • Wrote and distributed press-release to secure coverage on outlets like WBUR, The Boston Globe and Boston.com

  • Analyzed website, social media, and newsletter data to influence future marketing direction

  • Created and implemented social media strategy to organically grow and retain followers

  • Created graphics for social media and web using already established brand guide
